The Christchurch Travel Expo is an annual event bringing together World Travellers, travel partners, and exhibitors - all under one roof.

It’s a relaxed, welcoming environment where you can explore travel ideas, ask questions, and discover what’s possible, whether you’re planning your next holiday or just starting to dream.

Is the Christchurch Travel Expo free to attend?

Yes, entry to the Christchurch Travel Expo is completely free for everyone. There’s no need to pay to get in, and you’re welcome to explore at your own pace without obligation.

Do I need to book or register?

No — you don’t need to register to attend the event.
Just bring yourself on the day and enjoy the expo!

However, if you’d like to guarantee a one-on-one chat with a World Travellers expert, you can book a one-on-one chat in advance via the Plan Your Visit page.  This is especially useful if you have specific travel questions or want dedicated time with a specialist.  Or, if inspiration hits on the day, head to our Travel Lounge to start booking your next adventure.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the expo venue at Chateau on the Park in Riccarton is accessible for attendees with mobility needs. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please feel free to contact us in advance so we can support you on the day.

Will there be prizes?

Yes, there will be exciting travel prizes to be won on the day.

To be entered into the prize draw, a $150 booking deposit will be required. This deposit ensures your prize entry and will be transferred towards the cost of your next adventure as detailed in the prize terms (which will be available closer to the expo). You can follow our social channels for full prize mechanics and announcements.
